By their final year of high school, she had lost most of her friends. A sigh escaped Alfred as he sat alone in the conference room. His cerulean eyes were slowly gathering tears at his waterlines, causing his vision to blur. When he attempted to blink back the tears, though, they only seemed to fall and stain his blemish free cheeks with their moist trails. His eyes squeezed shut as tightly as possible and his grip on the edge of the table tightened. Trying not to cry these days was taking a lot of his strength.
